Il Centro Linguistico I seminari INTERNET E LE MUSE LETTERATURA ON LINE: COME SI FA UN BOLLETTINO ELETTRONICO Federico PELLIZZI Si tratta di analizzare, a partire da una realizzazione concreta, ossia "Bollettino '900 - Electronic Newsletter of '900 Italian Literature", on line dal maggio del 1995, quali siano le innovazioni, le potenzialita' e i problemi che la pubblicazione in rete (mettere testi in rete e immetersi nel testo aperto della rete) comporta, e quali siano alcune delle conseguenze teoriche, scientifiche, istituzionali per una comunita' di ricerca. A partire da alcune considerazioni su che cosa effettivamente sia una rivista elettronica, e su come funzioni una rivista "mista" che usi contemporaneamente la forma cartacea tradizionale, il Web e la distribuzione e-mail (tipologia delle riviste elettroniche), l'intervento si soffemera' su alcuni punti chiave della nuova dimensione del Web: l'ipertestualita' (tipologia dei collegamenti e dei percorsi), la ricerca in una scala mondiale (alcuni binomi concettuali suggeriti dalla nuova scala e certe conseguenze istituzionali), la nuova testualita' (memoria, consistenza, stile, provvisorieta', processualita', interazione), l'intermedialita' e le sue implicazioni per il sapere letterario e per il concetto stesso di scrittura. La conclusione tornera' sugli aspetti delle riviste elettroniche e sul lavoro che resta da fare, su quello che manca e che sembra auspicabile. LITERATURE ON LINE: HOW TO CREATE AN ELECTRONIC NEWSLETTER This paper deals with the following questions, starting with a concrete project, that is, "Bollettino '900 - Electronic Newsletter of '900 Italian Literature", on line since May 1995: what are the innovations, potential, and problems that are involved in on line publication (putting texts on line and getting into the open text on line); what are some of the theoretical, scientific and institutional consequences for a research community? Starting with several considerations on what an electronic journal really is, and how a "mixed" journal which uses both the traditional paper form, the web and e-mail (typology of electronic journals) at the same time, this paper stresses several key points of the new dimension of the Web: hypertextuality (typology of link-ups and routes); research on a worldwide scale (several conceptual binomials suggested by the new scale and certain institutional consequences); the new textuality (memory, consistency, style, impermanence, processes, interaction); intermediality and its implications for literary knowledge and the concept of writing itself. The conclusion will return to aspects of electronic journals and the work they have yet to do: what is missing and what seem appropriate. considers the electronic bulletin as one of the new dimensions in research, and examines the possibilities of its use in teaching. It is also interesting to show how one is created, since behind the technical dimension, many questions concerning conceptions of knowledge and the text are involved. Torna al programma
