Il Centro Linguistico I seminari INTERNET E LE MUSE LE SOGLIE DELL'IPERTESTO Alberto CADIOLI La comunicazione si apre con una breve riflessione sull'importanza di mettere in rapporto lo studio dei testi, l'analisi delle loro forme, la storia dei loro usi, nella consapevolezza che lo statuto e l'interpretazione di un'opera non sono estranei ai modi della sua presentazione e della sua interazione con un potenziale lettore. E' a partire da questa osservazione che si prendono in esame gli ipertesti letterari, cercando di delineare i caratteri di quelli affidati ai CD-Rom e di quelli apribili invece grazie alle possibilità della rete. Con riferimento dunque alle diverse tipologie, l'intervento presenta una serie di considerazioni, ancora affidate a interrogativi più che a risposte, su alcuni elementi paratestuali che, specificamente negli ipertesti, assumono una rilevente funzione ermeneutica. L'obbiettivo è quello di suggerire, a traverso le domande presentate, una prima riflessione sul rapporto autore-editore-lettore nell'ipertesto, e cercare di capire come cambiano i rapporti tra queste tre figure che la storia moderna della lettura ha collocato in una triade non sempre visibile ma di grande rilievo. THE THRESHOLD OF THE HYPERTEXT This paper opens with a short reflection on the importance of bringing the study of texts, the analysis of their forms and the history of their uses into relation with one another, with an awareness that the constitution and interpretation of a work are not foreign to the ways it is presented to a potential reader and to the ways he might react to it. This observation serves as a point of departure in the attempt to distinguish between literary hypertexts which are accessible via CD-Rom and those which can be accessed through a network. In reference to different typologies, this paper presents a series of considerations - which should be considered as questions more than as answers - on several paratextual elements which have taken on an important hermeneutic function. The aim is to suggest, through the questions here presented, an initial consideration on the author-editor-reader relationship in terms of the hypertext, and to try to understand the way relationships have changed among these three figures which modern history has arranged in a not always visible triad of great importance.
